Program Resources

The Nevada Housing Division awards Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) to eligible non-profits and local units of government within the state to provide the services necessary to help persons that are at-risk of homelessness or currently homeless quickly regain stability in permanent housing. Funding is provided for specific activities:

    • Shelter – Improve the number and quality of emergency shelters for homeless individuals and families;
    • Operational expenses, and essential services;
    • Rapid Rehousing - rapidly re-house homeless individuals and families;
    • Homeless Prevention - prevent families and individuals from becoming homeless, and
    • Homeless Management Information Systems – funds to operate and maintain required reporting.
