Emergency Solutions Grant

The Nevada Housing Division receives funds from the federal government to award non-profits and local units of government in Nevada to provide the services to individuals that are at-risk of homelessness or currently homeless quickly regain stability in permanent housing. Funding is provided for specific activities:

    Shelter – Improve the number and quality of emergency shelters for homeless individuals and families; Operational expenses, and essential services.
    Rapid Rehousing - Rapidly re-house homeless individuals and families.
    Homeless Prevention - Prevent families and individuals from becoming homeless.
    Homeless Management Information Systems – Funds to operate and maintain required reporting.
